Manager, Habilis
Linda Bowden is the manager at Habilis’ Summer Hill centre, has a Masters degree in Social Work and has a lead role in screening referrals and providing supervision and care for the residents of Habilis 1. She has been a social worker at a high school supporting vulnerable students and the team leader of the Sydney Inner City Crisis Team, which provided extended hours community outreach and clinics at the large hostels for the homeless in inner city Sydney. In recent years she has provided a weekly art therapy group at Uspace at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. She is also an accomplished sculptor, with works accepted in Sculpture by the Sea on fourteen occasions.
