Co-founder and Director, RedBridge Group Australia
Kos Samaras is the co-founder and director of RedBridge Group Australia, widely regarded as one of the country’s most influential political research and strategy consultancies. Drawing on decades of experience at the intersection of politics, demographics, and campaigning, he has become a leading voice in explaining how generational change, migration, and shifting community identities are reshaping Australia’s political landscape.
Kos served as a campaign strategist within the Labor Party from 2006 to 2019, and has since advised trade unions, corporations, universities, and local governments on strategy, social licence, and community engagement. At RedBridge, he pioneered the use of advanced research techniques in Australia, mapping not just votes but the values and lived realities driving them.
A regular contributor to national media, Kos is known for his sharp commentary on elections, housing, and the rise of younger and more diverse electorates. He co-hosts the Curtin Cast podcast with Nick Dyrenfurth, where he engages with union leaders, strategists, and thinkers on the challenges of the 21st century.
