YFS is a not-for-profit, community services organisation based in Logan and surrounds. We back people to overcome adversity, build independence and achieve their potential. We support individuals and families through a range of programs and initiatives including housing and homelessness services, support for families and children, youth engagement, employment preparation, money and debt management, legal information and advice, and domestic and family violence support and prevention.
Aged and Disability Advocacy Australia (ADA Australia) is a not-for-profit and independent aged and disability advocacy and community legal service helping older people and people with disability to speak up for their rights and needs, in relation to their care and support services or in relation to guardianship, administration and Enduring Power of Attorney matters. Our service also supports seniors with concerns about elder abuse or mistreatment. With more than 30 years’ experience in supporting and improving the wellbeing of older people and people with disability our advocacy services are free, confidential and client focused. ADA Australia also offers a range of education and training to inform participants of their rights and responsibilities within the aged care sector, and training in understanding decision-making including guardianship and administration.
